Governance

Goonawarra Neighbourhood House is committed to the highest standards of governance, ensuring that our house continues to serve the needs of the community.

The Committee of Management is made up of local volunteers with backgrounds in Finance, Business, Education & Community Development. Through this diverse skill set, the members of the committee oversee the organisations governance, financial position and long term strategic direction.

Members of the Committee are bound by the Committee Charter and the Australian Charities & Not-For-Profit Commissions governance standards. All of our members hold a valid Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check.
